Mark Twain's "The Diaries of Adam and Eve"
Mark Twain wrote "Extracts from Adam's Diary" when he was about fifty-five, and wrote "Eve's Diary" about fifteen years later, after he had outlived his wife and three of his four children. These individual pieces have been compiled in such a way as to portray the observations and personalities that make the timeless battle between the sexes so interesting and humorous.
